This time of late Winter find Mother bears giving birth to their young - tucked away in the warmth and darkness of their caves. Safe from the cold winds and temperatures normally associated with February. Here they will spend the next few months, growing until the warmer winds of Spring beckon. At which point this “sleuth” or “sloth” of bears begin their life roaming the wild places in search of food.
