In the interest of experimentation I have tossed my standard operating procedure regarding LittleWool. Typically January and February find me immersed in all things NOT woolly. Counterintuitive - maybe. Colourful and warm, wool seems the perfect medium to spend Winter with. And truly it can be. Unless one has been immersed in it for the other 10 months of the year. Months in which wool is pretty much the last thing you want to be close to (read 30 degrees that feels like 40 with the humidex).
With hopes of spreading out the love and reducing seasonal overload February looks different this year. Slow and steady is the new cramming for exams.
This weekend I will be participating in my first ever February show. It is one with the added bonus of being so close to home I could theoretically walk to it. It wouldn't be pretty but I could if I felt the need or if my car wouldn't start.
Come on by. It would be great to see you.
