Wool in Summer

July 17, 2017 Karen Straznicky

If ever there was a Summer to test out theories on the importance of diversified income streams, this is surely it. And if the universe happens to be reading, may I say that the point has been made and that you could consider turning off the tap of rain now.

Unlike last year when the thought of touching wool made me cringe, this Summer has been quite supportive to wool working. A silver lining of this, the wettest season in my memory is that I am able to make use of indoor time to build up and stock my LittleWool stock after a successful Spring.

With a few moments left over for trying out working with linen. This Spring saw a couple of sales of me-made dresses - a first for this completely untrained and self-doubting seamstress. Thanks to Laura at The RND Shop for her donation of bits and pieces from her stash and for her generous spirit.

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead.
