Bookends of a day

The sun rises in the East.

And it sets in the West.

In between time is spent immersed in the work of settling my earth to sleep.

My tools of choice - leaves, straw, compost, mulch and cover crops. Protecting topsoil from the disseminating powers of Autumn winds . Forming a blanket of sorts.

I am grateful to be able to mindfully prepare this space for it’s rest ahead. It seems an honest tribute to this place that fills me up with hope and wonder.

Happy Friday folks. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead.
