Let me present the last trick in my bag of Winter coping mechanisms. My sewing machine.
We tend to gather together come February - once seeds have been ordered, and crop plans well under way.
We get reacquainted and begin to sew away the remaining days of Winter.
Judging by the photos, it would seem I should invite an iron into my circle of friends. A fact I distinctly remember making note of last year at this time.
Soon the scales will tip away from time spent on indoor pursuits. I appreciate these days of relative stillness knowing that they will not likely come around again until this time next year. The wheel of my homestead year.
**Please note. For the first time my handmade dresses and tunics will be available for sale at an amazing local show titled "The Art of Dressing". More information may be found on my Events page. Feel free to get in touch to find out more.**
Have a good week out there.
